Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. (John 7:38, NIV)
Good morning, brothers and sisters! We pray that you would be filled with the presence of Jesus, and that you would be both refined and comforted by the Lord.
This is The Current, a new triweekly newsletter from Two Rivers Vineyard Church. Our goal is not to further cram your inboxes but simplify them. We aim to be concise, delivering a full roundup of news, notes and upcoming events in an easily digestible format. From announcements of special events to personal messages from the leadership team to church family pictures, it should also be fun!
As our church (and the Church as a whole) moves into a new season, we hope this will help you stay plugged in at TRVC, wherever you are both physically and spiritually. So thanks for subscribing! You can expect newsletters to arrive every three weeks, on Mondays at 7 a.m.
Upcoming Events
Speak Life Saturday (Saturday, Aug. 28, 12 p.m.): Come to TRVC and make an encouraging sign or two, then join us in lining Madison Avenue to give passerby some unconditional affirmation.

Inside the Sermon Series
Are you growing up or just growing old in your faith? What are our instructions for maturing as Christians? Watch/listen to Pastor David Welker unpack Scripture in Sunday’s important message from the “Hey Jude” series.
Coming in September: “The Heart of Worship,” a new series exploring what the Bible says about worship and its place among the followers of Jesus. We hope you’ll join us to explore what A.W. Tozer once called “the missing jewel in modern evangelicalism.”
Notes from Leaders
Krista Brandt (youth): Wednesday night hangouts will return Sept. 8! Any students grades 6-12 are welcome from 6:30-8 p.m., at TRVC. We'll kick off the school year with pizza, games, and prizes!
Shannon Welker (children’s/welcome): Starting in September, we’ll begin using a new K-5 curriculum in Outfitters, our kids ministry. The curriculum comes from Vineyard Kids USA and include both thoughtful lessons and fun Bible-sharing activities like music, skits, crafts and more. There are seven lessons in total, the first highlighting the fact that God can change us from the inside out, with six others introducing godly characteristics the Holy Spirit wants to help us reflect: Boldness, compassion, generosity and love.
Giving
As believers, we know that everything we own is, at some level, a gift from God. Consider giving back to TRVC with a tithe or offering.
